Dr. Peter G.W. Keen
Peter Keen works globally as a: professor, adviser to senior management in business and government organizations, author, executive educator, and public speaker.
Recently he has worked in Mexico, Slovenia, Canada, Australia, Germany, The Netherlands, Spain, Finland, Denmark, Poland, the United States, the UK, France, Sweden, Switzerland, Portugal, and Singapore.
Peter was named as one of the top 100 business “gurus” in the world – thought leaders with impact – in a book survey, “What’s the Big Idea?” (2003). This ranking is based on objective measures of citations of his work in the scholarly literature (influence as a thought leader), Google search engine “hits” on his name (public impact and interest), and media references on Lexis/Nexus (newsworthiness). Airport Shuttle Services:
There will be complimentary 24 hour shuttle service to and from Pearson International Airport (YYZ). Airport shuttle runs every 20 minutes on the hour. The pickup location at Terminal 1 is the ground level at post S5 or P3 and the pickup location at Terminal 3 is at post C22.
Originally from Nova Scotia, multi-instrumentalist Mike Wark moved to Toronto where he received his Bachelor of Music and Diploma in Jazz Studies from Humber College. He has studied with Canadian and international saxophone greats like Pat LaBarbera, Kirk MacDonald, Kelly Jefferson, as well as former T.S.O. flautist Virginia Markson. While at Humber he received awards in performing, jazz pedagogy, and arranging/composing categories; and, had the opportunity to perform and work with world-renowned musicians such as Randy Brecker, Hilario Duran, Jane Bunnett, Steve Gadd, Vince Mendoza and Dave Liebman.
As a versatile musician, Mike has worked with Nova Sinfonia, Nick “Brownman” Ali, Luis Mario Ochoa and Cimarron, Don Thompson, NOJO, The Toronto Jazz Orchestra, songwriter/rocker Alejandro Escovedo, The Jazz Mechanics, and Persian/pop legend Sattar. He has performed throughout Canada, United States, and Cuba, in bars and clubs, theatres, and in a variety of international jazz, blues, and world music festivals. He has performed in pit orchestras for CatsMainstage Theatre Company (“Urinetown”), and Scarborough Music Theatre (“Kiss of The Spider Woman,” “Oklahoma!,” and “Gypsy”), and can be heard on JazzFM, BravoFACT, CBC Radio Live, TV jingles, and several albums in a variety of musical styles.
Mike currently keeps busy composing and arranging music (his debut quartet is in the works), teaching, and currently performs with Max Senitt, The Thing Is, Paul Donat, Ewan Divitt Orchestra, and many others around Toronto.
