EVERLINK COMPLETES ITS 10TH SUCCESSFUL CONVERSION THIS YEAR WITH LAKE VIEW CREDIT UNION

MARKHAM, ON, SEPTEMBER 27, 2016 – Everlink Payment Services Inc. announced today the successful conversion of Lake View Credit Union, the 10th credit union to convert to the Everlink payments processing environment this year, all consistently delivered on schedule. Lake View Credit Union brings 12,000 members and 5 ATMs to the Everlink payments processing environment.

As an added benefit due to its conversion to Everlink, Lake View Credit Union will be able to issue the latest in debit card technology – Interac Flash® – to all of its members, further preparing the credit union for the adoption of Mobile Payments in Canada. This is in addition to extending its leading payments innovations across all of its Lines of Business: Payment Network Gateway, ATM Managed Services, Card Issuance & Management, Fraud Management and Merchant Services.

Upon the Payments Strategy Committee’s announcement last fall selecting Everlink as the recommended switch provider for Canadian credit unions, numerous B.C. and Ontario based credit unions have chosen to make the transition. This has further cemented Everlink as the market leader in the provision of payments solutions to credit unions in Canada.

Lake View Credit Union’s history of member service began in the years after the great depression. Born in Dawson Creek on August 1943 with 12 members and $6, in September 1944, the credit union had 141 members and a share capital of $25,820.
