MARKHAM, ON, JUNE 13, 2016 – Everlink Payment Services Inc. announced today the successful conversion of G&F Financial Group, the ninth largest credit union in BC with 13 branches, to the Everlink payments processing environment, and the first C2C credit union to convert utilizing a Fiserv DNA banking application. The conversion involved the migration of 13 ATMs and over 29,000 members. The project was completed on time and on schedule, just weeks following the announcement that Valley First and Island Savings, also BC based credit unions, successfully completed their conversion to Everlink.

As part of the conversion, Everlink positions G&F Financial Group to be able to issue the latest in debit card technology – Interac Flash® – to all of its members, further preparing the region for the upcoming launch of Mobile Payments in Canada. This is in addition to extending its leading payments innovations across all of its Lines of Business: Payment Network Gateway, ATM Managed Services, Card Issuance & Management, Fraud Management and Merchant Services.

Upon the Payments Strategy Committee’s announcement last fall selecting Everlink as the recommended switch provider for Canadian credit unions, numerous B.C. and Ontario based credit unions have chosen to make the transition. This has further cemented Everlink’s role as the market leader in the provision of payment solutions to credit unions in Canada.

Everlink, Fiserv and many DNA credit union users worked collaboratively over the past year to ensure project delivery and execution was on schedule with the objective of a seamless conversion experience for all credit union members.
