EVERLINK WELCOMES KOOTENAY SAVINGS AFTER DELIVERING ON THEIR COMMITMENT TO CONVERT NEW CLIENTS ON SCHEDULE AND WITH A SEAMLESS MEMBER EXPERIENCE

November 23, 2016

MARKHAM, ON, NOVEMBER 23, 2016 – Everlink Payment Services Inc. announced today the successful conversion of Kootenay Savings, the 16th financial institution to convert to the Everlink payments processing environment this year. Kootenay Savings brings 39,000 members and 16 ATMs to Everlink’s payments processing environment.

As an added benefit due to its conversion to Everlink, Kootenay Savings will be able to issue the latest in debit card technology – Interac Flash® – to all of its members, further preparing the credit union for the adoption of Mobile Payments in Canada. In addition to the above, going forward, Kootenay Savings will be able to take advantage of Everlink’s leading payments innovations across all seven of its Lines of Business: ATM Managed Services, Card Issuance & Management, Fraud Management Solutions, Mobile Payments, Payment Network Gateway, Professional Services and SME Solutions.

Upon the Payments Strategy Committee’s announcement last fall selecting Everlink as the recommended switch provider for Canadian credit unions, numerous B.C. and Ontario based credit unions have chosen to make the transition. This has further cemented Everlink as the market leader in the provision of payments solutions to credit unions in Canada.

“As our members are embracing and asking for new technologies, the switch to Everlink sets us up to provide them with exciting and innovative enhancements, particularly in the areas of mobile and digital payment solutions,” explains Brent Tremblay, President and CEO of Kootenay Savings. “Through our relationship with Everlink, we are now positioned to take Kootenay Savings and our member experience strategy to the next level.”

“We made a promise to deliver each credit union conversion on time, with virtually no member impact, earlier this year and Everlink has consistently delivered. Each successful conversion speaks to the depth, breadth and steadfast commitment to client-centricity that exists within our organization,” says Mark Ripplinger, President & CEO at Everlink. “I’m very proud of my team, and on behalf of our entire organization, I extend a very warm welcome to Kootenay Savings, all of their staff and members. This successful conversion is the first of many projects we intend to deliver as promised.”
