December 4, 2013

MARKHAM, ON – Everlink Payment Services Inc. is pleased to announce that First Nations Bank of Canada (FNBC) has selected the Everlink Central Card Issuance (CCI) solution to enable the secure and reliable issuance of dual interface debit cards to their customers in various regions including the northern territories.

This decision makes FNBC – a Schedule 1 Canadian chartered bank primarily focused on providing financial services to the Aboriginal marketplace in Canada – the first bank and fifth major financial institution to leverage Everlink for their debit card issuance expertise in 2013.

“Financial institutions across the nation have been adopting our Card Issuance & Management Solutions at a tremendous pace,” says Mark Ripplinger, President and CEO at Everlink. “As a highly respected organization with a unique mission and vision, we welcome FNBC as our newest Central Card Issuance client and look forward to providing them with the innovative and effective products they need to grow their business and satisfy the needs of their cardholders.”

“We have been pleased with the services that Everlink has provided on the switching and ATM monitoring side of the business and look forward to the continued growth of our relationship into card issuance and management,” says Greig Cooper, VP Operations at First Nations Bank of Canada.

The Everlink CCI solution enables financial institutions to reliably and cost-effectively produce EMV Chip debit cards from a secure central facility, offering distribution options to send the cards directly to the member/customer or to the branch.

CCI leverages relationships Everlink has with card production suppliers who operate facilities certified by all major card associations, in order to offer end-to-end solutions with proven, tried and true, in-production technology.  CCI aligns perfectly with the needs of today’s payment card issuers looking to maximize quality and reduce cost-per-card.
