Interac-Certified For EMV Chip

Everlink, an Interac Direct member since 1998, was certified in 2007 for EMV Chip by Interac; as one of the select members of the multilateral Kitchener-Waterloo trial, we deployed Chip-enabled ATMs which are in production today.

Having already completed the EMV Chip upgrades to the Everlink Node, Everlink is further extending our services towards ensuring the CUCC Interac Node is also EMV Chip compliant. The CUCC phase involves:

• Implementation of the EMV Chip software upgrade within the CUCC Node.
• Retrofit CUCC specific software customizations.
• CUCC Node quality assurance testing.

Following the successful completion of this phase, Everlink will begin external certification and validation to Interac, Visa, and MasterCard; as well as certification testing to system suppliers such as CUETS.
