MARKHAM, ON, AUGUST 23, 2016 – Everlink Payment Services Inc. announced today the successful conversion of the Summerland Credit Union to the Everlink payments processing environment. Delivering on their promise to complete the conversion on time and on schedule, Everlink welcomed the Summerland Credit Union, comprised of 7,100 members and 2 ATMs, to their payments processing environment.

As part of the conversion, the Summerland Credit Union will to be able to issue the latest in debit card technology – Interac Flash® – to all of its members, further preparing the credit union for the adoption of Mobile Payments in Canada. This is in addition to extending its leading payments innovations across all of its Lines of Business: Payment Network Gateway, ATM Managed Services, Card Issuance & Management, Fraud Management and Merchant Services.

Upon the Payments Strategy Committee’s announcement last fall selecting Everlink as the recommended switch provider for Canadian credit unions, numerous B.C. and Ontario based credit unions have chosen to make the transition.
