MARKHAM, ON, OCTOBER 1, 2021 – Everlink Payment Services Inc. is pleased to officially welcome the Atlantic Credit Union System to the Everlink Servus Debit Mastercard Affiliate program. League Data Ltd, in partnership with Atlantic Central, has already begun work with Everlink to deliver the program to participating Atlantic Credit Unions by the end of Q1 of 2022.

Along with traditional debit card features, the Debit Mastercard will provide Atlantic Credit Union members with a “true convenience card,” which offers a simple, safe, and smart way to access their money. It also allows members the flexibility and freedom to shop in person, online, over-the-phone and mail-order, as well as setting up recurring payments directly from their accounts. As an all-in-one card, member cardholders will also benefit from worldwide payment acceptance at all domestic and international merchants that accept Mastercard. Furthermore, members can view their accounts online or in the mobile banking application without website redirects.

Adapting to eCommerce trends, in addition to the safety and security of member’s transactions, is a top priority for Atlantic Credit Unions. To ensure this very important objective is accomplished, in addition, to be protected by Everlink eDETECT™ real-time fraud management solution, all Debit Mastercard transactions will be monitored under Everlink’s award-winning eSCORE™ fraud monitoring platform. As an added layer of protection and defence against fraud, eSCORE™ leverages elements of machine learning technologies and regression models, which, when combined with Everlink’s award-winning eDETECT™ ATM and POS monitoring platform, Atlantic Canadian credit unions and their members are provided very comprehensive and seamlessly integrated Fraud Management protection. And finally, Atlantic Canadian credit union members will also have access to Mastercard Global Services to support lost and stolen card reporting, emergency card replacement and emergency cash advance.
