As the first fraud solution of its kind in Canada, Everlink’s Lock’N’Block® solution is a mobile card block service that allows cardholders to “Lock” their Interac® debit card to “Block” unauthorized or unwanted use through their Financial Institution’s mobile banking application.

Lock’N’Block® is embedded into mobile banking applications that run on Apple iPhone® and Samsung® Android phones.

An easy to use, Seamless
experience for cardholders

 

The cardholder begins by logging into the Financial Institution’s Online or Mobile Banking Application. The Lock’N’Block® functionality will be presented to the cardholder within the application. The validation and authentication of the cardholder is controlled via rules built into the Financial Institution’s Banking Application.

When the Lock’N’Block® functionality is opened, it asks the cardholder to confirm that they wish to register a card for this service. The screen will then display cards that have been “Registered” and a toggle to allow them to set “Lock” or “Unlock” functions on their debit card. If the cardholder has multiple cards, they will each be displayed with their unique status.
