CONEXUS CREDIT UNION LAUNCHES EVERLINK’S AWARD WINNING LOCK’N’BLOCK® SOLUTION FOR ENHANCED PROTECTION OF MEMBER DEBIT CARDS
MARKHAM, ON, APRIL 10, 2019 – Everlink Payment Services Inc. announced today that Conexus Credit Union has launched Everlink’s award winning Lock’N’Block® solution, making it available to cardholders using the Conexus Credit Union mobile app, online banking and mobile web service. As the 6th largest credit union in the country with over 128,500 members, Conexus debit cardholders now have the ability and the flexibility to control access to their debit cards at any time, and from any place.
The service is very user-friendly, allowing cardholders to control access to their debit card by simply logging into their mobile banking application and clicking on the Lock’N’Block® icon. The screen will then display an image of the card that they have “Registered” and a toggle allowing the cardholder to “Lock” or “Unlock” their debit card.
Designed with different blocking capabilities in mind, Lock’N’Block® enables cardholders to lock their card completely, or selectively lock international use while allowing domestic transactions. Lock’N’Block® blocks debit card transactions at the Everlink payment processing level and has been designed to not interfere with other Fraud Management System actions. Lock’N’Block® works on Apple™ and Android™ devices, and includes support for Everlink’s DebitWear™ contactless debit wristband.
